Brighton Music Lessons
Rachel de Cock (DipGSM)
Singing . Songwriting
Whether you are an aspiring beginner, or experienced professional, I can help you to develop your specific vocal and musical needs. Over the past 20+ years, I have taught everyone from charting pop singers, choral members, songwriters, West End actors and dancers, to children and individuals simply wanting to learn for fun, so whatever your aims are, I am here to here to help.
Lessons are customised to suit the individual, with a strong emphasis on developing a healthy, comfortable vocal technique. I enjoy teaching beginners, as well as advanced students and believe that music is for everyone. My teaching method is inspired by many different schools of singing, as well as my many years of teaching experience.
As well as singing, I cover a variety of different musical areas, including performance skills, microphone technique, basic piano, overcoming performance anxiety and much more, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements and aims.
"Rachel has been a fantastic teacher, her warm and personable approach has created a safe and comfortable space to learn, while encouraging me to reach new horizons with my singing. I’ve sung for many years, and yet have already learned so much in a few lessons! Rachel has wide musical interests and expertise, so as someone interested in both classical/traditional and modern music I’ve found Rachel’s approach to be a great fit."
